I always bring along something to jot or sketch in when I’m out and about, on a nature frolic or vacationing. Inspired by Helen Keller’s famous quote, “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all”, I came up with travel specific journals in three variations.

Although I took a literal approach of traveling and going out and seeing the world, this quote could also refer to taking risks in general, in the decisions we make about our lives and how we choose to live them. However that is, always make the most of it!

Each 100% post consumer fiber journal is hand drawn with the words “MY TRAVELS” in a banner with “~ and other daring adventures ~” underneath and two clouds up top. The two white journals were colored and reproduced with pigment inks in a rusty peachy pink and brown combo, and a mustard yellow with orangey red — both with clouds in blue. 

The version in black on light brown was also reproduced with pigment inks but I hand colored the white clouds with water-based paint to give it a little something special.
